Harry Redknapp and John Barrowman shared stories about their other halves in the I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! jungle yesterday - with the latter name dropping Cher.
One of the best things about the ITV reality show is witnessing interactions between celebrities you'd never expect to meet.
Such a moment came yesterday when football supremo Harry got to know stage and screen star John.
The pair shared amusing stories of how they met their partners as they chatted by the creek.
Harry went first, recalling the time he met wife Sandra at East End hotspot Two Puddings.
"Me and my mate Macca, he was a goal keeper for West Ham," he said. "We saw these two lovely girls and I said to Macca, 'shall we have a dance with those two'."
Referring to himself, Harry continued: "I look back on it now and think Sandra must have seen us both coming over and thought, 'I hope I aint got him'.
"She went for me, 54 years later we’re still going strong. And Macca ended up as an undertaker so really Sandra had the better deal in the long term!"
John then told how his first date with husband Scott Gill ended up involving one of music's biggest superstars.
"I was doing a play in Chichester, and a friend of ours brought Scott down. After the show I spoke to him and it was then that I knew that was the person I was going to spend the rest of my life with," he revealed.
"I said, 'let's go out to dinner'. The that night we were meant to go out I get a call from someone who said they had Cher on the line.
"She’d seen the show the night before and wanted to take me out for dinner. I said ‘that’s amazing, but I can’t go’.
"I spoke to Cher and told her why, and she said no one had ever turned her down before, so bring Scott along. Our first date was with Cher!"
John later called the conversation "one of the loveliest talks I’ve had in a long time".
Meanwhile, Harry told the Bush Telegraph: "While John was having dinner with Cher I was with Sandra at the Two Puddings."
Raising his hand, he added: "I know who got the best of the deal."
I'm A Celebrity airs nightly at 9.00pm on ITV, followed by Extra Camp on ITV2.
