I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here is on its way and this year the line up isn’t being revealed to anyone.

Although there have been plenty of rumours, ITV are keeping quiet on the official cast until launch after a big slip up last year.

Former King of the Jungle Joe Swash, who hosts spin-off show Extra Camp, has told how his nan accidentally leaked the cast to the press.

Speaking on This Morning to hosts Rochelle Humes and Phillip Schofield, Joe said: “They used to tell us in advance so we could do a little bit of research, and I told my nan.

“My nan lives in Norfolk and she went to the local coffee shop, and some geezer bumped into her and started asking questions.

“She told this fella everything and he worked for the Norfolk Gazette and it whittled down and they found out it was me.”

He joked: “It’s the biggest scoop the Norfolk Gazette has ever had!”

But Joe said that his nan was left “really upset” by the events and it led to Joe and his co-hosts being banned from knowing the line up in advance.

Last year, the ITV2 show was hosted live every night by Joe alongside then current Queen of the Jungle Scarlett Moffatt and 2016 runner up and comedian Joel Dommett.

The trio will be back again this year, with Joel saying: “We’re working night hours – like owls and strippers.

“Next week we go out and have a few run-throughs and then we try and get to it.”

Scarlett added: “I’m so excited to be back working with Joe and Joel for another year on Extra Camp, I absolutely adore them both.

“We have such a laugh doing the show together, I can’t wait to get back out there and meet our new celebrity jungle campmates.”

I’m A Celebrity launches in November on ITV.
