There are a number of familiar faces, plus some newbies for the show’s eleventh season.

The professionals will consist of original Dancing on Ice skater and series favourite Matt Evers, last year’s champion Vanessa Bauer, two husband and wife skaters, Alex Schauman and Lukasz Royzcki and Carlotta Edwards and Alexander Demetriou.

Plus, there’s series veterans Sylvain Longchambon, Brianne Delcourt and Mark Hanretty, and returning fresh from their series debut last year, Alexandra Murphy, Brandee Malto and Hamish Gaman.

Carlotta and Alexander both appear on the show for the first time, while Alex and Lukasz return to the professionals’ stable having featured in previous series.

Over the coming weeks, the professionals will be paired with the celebrity partners and begin training ahead of the first live show in the New Year.

Other backstage changes include Karen Barber returning as Head Coach, while Dan Whiston becomes Associate Creative Director.
