Strictly Come Dancing 2018 results leave some fans ‘fuming’

The latest Strictly Come Dancing 2018 results have caused quite the reaction.

At the weekend the 12 remaining celebrity and pro couples all danced live one more time before the judges scored and viewers voted. In the dance off, Vick Hope and Seann Walsh had to dance again and it was Vick who left in this week’s Strictly Come Dancing results.

It wasn’t a unanimous decision from the judges, with Craig Revel Horwood voting to save Vick while Darcey Bussell and guest judge Alfonso Ribeiro saved Seann. With the casting vote, head judge Shirley Ballas also saved Seann, sending Vick hope.

Just like the panel, many viewers were split over the outcome, especially given Seann’s recent kiss controversy with pro partner Katya Jones.

“Fuming!! Why would Seann and Katya be chose over Vick and Graziano? I agree with Craig she had the better performance on the night! #Strictly,” raged one fan.

Another wrote: “StrictlyComeDancing #Strictly unbelievable Vick off Seann saved.”

And a third posted: “Sorry #strictly but were the other judges watching something different? sean went wrong and was all over the place! he blatantly missed a couple steps. i’ll admit vick was probably bottom two but didn’t deserve to go this week at all!”

“Don’t agree with that decision at all Seann should’ve gone I liked Vick & think she had loads more to give #Strictly,” added another user.

However others agreed with the majority of the judges.

“Out of the two couples I think they were right to save Seann and Katya. #Strictly,” one tweeted.

Another defended Seann and Katya: “Completely agree with the judges ruling. Personally loved Seann and Katya’s routine, Vick was stiff as wood – bottom of the leader board for a reason. Keep your judgement of Seann and Katya to the dance not the scandel. It’s not like they made a sex tape. Chill. #Strictly”

Away from the main result, some viewers also took aim at Vick’s pro partner Graziano Di Prima, who is new to the show this year.

Former pro James Jordan tweeted: “Shame, because with the right pro Vick could have been a potential winner. She has so much natural talent”

And one viewer even questioned: “Is Graziano actually a professional? #strictly”

Meanwhile, despite being in the bottom two, Seann and Katya have been tipped to WIN by pro dancer Anton Du Beke.

“Could they go all the way? Yes, I think so. Absolutely. I don’t see why not now,” he told the Daily Mirror.

Strictly Come Dancing 2018 will return next Saturday and Sunday night on BBC One with its annual Halloween special.
