The pro dancer, who joined the show last year, had been dating Emmerdale actor Anthony Quinlan.

However their relationship is now over, a spokesperson for Dianne confirmed.

They said in a short statement: “Due to their busy schedules and distance they have split but still remain really close friends.”

A source had revealed to The Sun newspaper: “He’s up north and she’s down south and things just weren’t working any more so they’ve knocked it on the head despite being quite serious.

“She’s having a lot of fun with the show at the moment and is enjoying spending time with her dance partner Joe.”

Indeed, according to the Daily Mirror newspaper, Dianne and Joe have become “inseparable”.

An insider claimed: “Backstage they are inseparable even when they are not rehearsing. When they are sitting on sofas together there legs often intertwine and they are very tactile with each other.”

However it’s been claimed that Strictly’s professionals have been warned after Seann Walsh and Katya Jones’ kiss drama.

Current Strictly contestant Graeme Swann told BBC Five Live’s Test Match Special Podcast: “I think the pros were told wind your neck in.

“They were all very angry because they couldn’t go to a couple of functions they wanted to. They were locked out. A curfew was placed upon them.

“It’s very much being in the team. One person lets the side down.”

Last week saw Strictly Come Dancing judge Craig Revel Horwood accuse Katya of being the one in the wrong after her kiss with Seann.

He told the Daily Mail newspaper: “Personally, I think Katya was in the wrong. She should have put a stop to it because she’s a professional dancer.

“It’s her job not only to protect her own relationship, but to protect the celebrity’s and be the mentor. I think she broke protocol over that. She should never have allowed it to happen.
