Coronation Street star Jane Danson and Australian Neighbours actor Australian Mark Little are the latest celebrity skaters confirmed for a brand new series of Dancing on Ice 2019, which returns to ITV in the New Year.

Jane was announced via a live link up on today’s Loose Women while Mark was announced on today’s Build Series London.

They join reality star Gemma Collins, actor Richard Blackwood, dancer James Jordan, Westlife singer Brian McFadden, TV personality Saira Khan, cricketer Ryan Sidebottom and Pussycat Doll Melody Thornton on the line up.

They will be getting their skates and sequins on ready to compete alongside three other celebrities in the quest for glory, under the watchful eye of the skating legends Torvill and Dean, who head up the judging panel.

Each week the twelve celebrities will skate live with their professional partners in a bid to impress both the panel and the viewers, who will ultimately decide who wins the show.

Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby once again return to present the show.

On joining the show, Jane said “I’ve got a big birthday next month so I’m seeing it as a challenge for the fab 40. I’m just looking forward to it and trying not to think about being damaged. It’s been a bit of a life long dream.”

Mark added: “How exciting this is! My skating is pretty rickety. I’ll be trying to find the elegance, the strength, the smoothness. I’m a bit of a danger man, a bit of a risk taker, and I do like dancing so let’s see what happens.”

Dancing On Ice 2019 will air on ITV in the New Year.
