Kay Lovelle has left the Big Brother 2018 house, Channel 5 has announced.

A Big Brother spokesperson confirmed that Kay had departed the show overnight.

They staid in a short statement: "Kay decided to leave the Big Brother House in the early hours of this morning. The other Housemates are aware."

Kay leaving the House will be seen in tonight's episode, 10.15pm, Channel 5.

It follows Kay threatening to walk for the third time in the first two weeks in last night's highlights show.

Kay begged had to leave at gone midnight and threatened to breakout the fire door.

"I don’t want to be sharing a House with venomous people," she told Big Brother after rowing with her fellow housemates.

Kay left following nominations where she received six votes and was put up for the axe.

And it was the second time in as many days that Kay had said she wanted to go.

Kay told Big Brother in the Diary Room in Sunday's show: "Guys, I'm struggling again. I just think sometimes I'm in the wrong place and I don't wanna be misunderstood.

"I just feel so trapped and I can't get out."

In a chat with Lewis F, Kay was told some harsh home truths after hiding things about herself on the outside world.

He said: "You're on reality TV and the reality is that something's gonna come out about you. And if you don't like that then maybe you should've have come on reality TV."

Kay responded: "I can't do this everyday guys. It's just that I'm really struggling."

However not everyone was sympathetic to Kay's situation.

Cameron Cole complained: "It's a bit like an act. She is an actor. We can't forget that she knows how to act."

Viewers didn't hold back, begging Big Brother to let her go.

"Kay please let her go I’ll pack her bags and buy her a 1 way ticket #bbuk," one viewer wrote.

Another posted: "Somebody just open the f*****g fire door for Kay #BBBOTS #BBUK"

And a third wrote: "Please @bbuk let Kay exit the #bbuk house! We are bored of watching her fake crying."

Big Brother 2018 airs Sunday-Friday nights at 10PM on Channel 5.
