Tom Rosenthal, actor and comedian said: “I was honoured to be given the position of the Dean at ReFreshers University. Taking on such an esteemed role gave me a chance to educate, to mentor and to question my professional decision-making. Just like Freshers’ Week style this show will introduce you to some great people, some fine people and some absolute bozos.”

Gemma Collins, queen of reality TV added: “As a natural diva, I absolutely love being in charge as a Professor and I’m considering speaking to the Uni of Essex about launching an official degree in GC. I didn’t go to university, but this show really gives me a flavour for Freshers’ Week and all the lols that come with it.”

Emma Sherwood-Smith, Brand Director of Cider at Heineken UK commented: “Refreshment is in Strongbow’s DNA. It was most people’s first drink of choice and reminds us of a time when things were more open and fun. And what better symbol of a time you felt most free than Freshers’ Week?

"This is exactly why we teamed up with MTV to make ReFreshers Week. Our ultimate goal is to get everyone involved and give people the opportunity to relive those feelings and memories from our treasured twenties whether you went to University or chose a different path.”

ReFreshers Week presented by Strongbow launches on Monday 24th September at 10pm on MTV, and will run across five weekly, one-hour episodes.
