A brand new 'Gamechanger' nominations twist has been announced for Big Brother 2018.

Friday night saw the first eviction of the series as Anamélia Silva was eliminated. She left against Sîan Hamshaw and Kay Lovelle.

The trio faced the axe after a first week twist which saw housemates competing to win 'Big Coin' at the 'Bank Of Big Brother'.

It meant that were no nominations, with housemates instead only nominating for the first time on Sunday night.

Those with the most votes and currently up for eviction are Lewis Gregory and Lewis Flanagan with 8 and 6 nominations each.

Unknown to the housemates, this week also saw viewers able to nominate a housemate.

During last Friday's live show, host Emma Willis explained that viewers could nominate alongside the housemates by casting a free vote in the official BBUK app. In the Secret Viewers' Nominations, viewers voted for their favourite housemate. The housemate with the fewest votes from viewers - who has not already been nominated by the housemates - was also put up for eviction.

This housemate was Isaac, who joins Lewis F and Lewis G in currently facing the axe on Friday night.

However before nominations are official the housemates will take part in a new 'Gamechanger' task.

Bit On The Side's Rylan Clark-Neal explained: "The Gamechanger will see six housemates compete to save one of the housemates currently facing eviction.

"The group competing will include the three nominated housemates and the richest housemate - which is currently Akeem. Akeem will have to choose two more housemates to compete alongside them to make up the total of six housemates.

"The one housemate who is declared the winner of the Gamechanger will have the opportunity to save one nominee from the public vote.

"They can choose to save themselves, if they're nominated, or another housemate. Alternative they can leave the nominations exactly how they stand."

Big Brother 2018 continues Sunday-Fridays at 10PM on Channel 5.
