Following the end of Celebrity Big Brother, Channel 5 has released an awesome time-lapse of the house’s makeover for Big Brother.

The old Celebrity Big Brother 2018 house was home to 13 celebs for this summer’s series, which ended on Monday with Ryan Thomas the winner.

Show bosses had just three days to change it for the start of Big Brother and the makeover was pretty impressive.

While the layout and rooms all remain the same, the whole house has been given a completely new look.

The transformation started before Celebrity Big Brother ended when Big Brother kicked the then remaining housemates out of one of the two bedrooms.

Then just minutes after the group left on final night builders were inside hard at work.

Sharing a time-lapse of the transformation, Big Brother tweeted today: “If you were wondering how we manage to overhaul the whole House ready for a new series of #BBUK, wonder no more.

“Here’s how the new-look bedroom was put together. ?”

Channel 5 released a first look at the Big Brother 2018 house earlier today.

They said: “This year’s House is designed to bring Big Brother back to its roots as a social experiment but everything has been designed to remind the Housemates that they are in a game: maze artwork, intriguing design features, and a gaming table.

“It has been designed to evoke a feeling of living in a House that is run by an unseen power or organisation.

“The House has propaganda-inspired messaging throughout, to instil a sense of competitiveness in the Housemates.”

It could be the last EVER time we see the Big Brother house on TV.

Today, Channel 5 confirmed it would not be airing the show beyond 2018.

It means the latest series of Big Brother could be the final one to air in the UK.

Of course, much like when the show moved to Channel 5 from Channel 4, there’s the potential for another switch.

But for now, Big Brother 2018 begins at 9PM on Channel 5 tonight, September 14.
