The 2018 Strictly celebs and their pro partners are currently taking part in two weeks of intense rehearsals ahead of the first live show.

The celebs were partnered up with their professional dancers in last Saturday’s launch episode.

Radio DJ Vick Hope was partnered with brand new pro dancer, Graziano Di Prima.

The pair will be doing a Jive for their very first routine.

In the couple’s first training clip, Vick admits she’s struggling with the intensity.

“My body is hurting in bits that I didn’t even know I had,” she says.

However, Vick adds: “I’m in agony, and I ddn’t know that agony could feel so good.”

As it happens, the training regime hasn’t been the toughest part for Vick – or Graziano.

The pair revealed that their equally big hair was causing issues.

“Turns out that this is actually quite a hazard,” Vick said, “Sorry, my hair gets stuck everywhere.

“We could both wear hairnets and go for a really sexy vibe.”

Strictly 2018’s first live episode airs on Saturday, September 22. It will start at 6:15PM on BBC One.

They’re joined by Giovanni Pernice and Faye Tozer, Dianne Buswell and Joe Sugg, Aljaž Škorjanec and Kate Silverton and AJ Pritchard and Lauren Steadman.

Also on this year’s line up are Karen Clifton and Charles Venn, Kevin Clifton and Stacey Dooley and Anton Du Beke and Susannah Constantine.

Rounding off the starting cast are Amy Dowden and Danny John-Jules, Gorka Marquez and Katie Piper and Nadiya Bychkova and Lee Ryan.

As usual, there will be no viewer vote in the first weekend however they will be marked by judges Bruno Tonioli, Craig Revel Horwood, Darcey Bussell and Shirley Ballas.

Those scores will carry forward to the next week where the viewers will get their say and one unlucky celeb will be the first to leave.

At the end of the second weekend, the two couples with the lowest combined scores, from the judges and public vote, will face each other in the dance off. The judges will then decide which one couple will leave the competition for good.
