Nadia Essex has been replaced on the new series of Celebs Go Dating.
It follows Nadia being suspended from the show this week, halfway through filming the upcoming season.
"Nadia has been suspended following improper use of social media," a spokesperson said yesterday (September 11).
The Sun newspaper reported that Nadia's suspension followed claims that she was "setting up fake accounts to troll certain users" online.
"Nadia has been suspended from the show until further notice and won’t be appearing on the rest of the series," said a source. “Bosses have made the decision following an investigation into Nadia’s use of social media."
It's now been said that Lara Asprey, who currently appears on W dating show The Ultimate Matchmaker, will replace Nadia.
"Lara has saved the day by signing up for the rest of the series at short notice," a source shared to The Sun. “She is exactly what producers are after in terms of Nadia’s replacement; she’s classy, has the credentials and is already experienced in fronting a dating show."
The insider added: “Lara was even approached to front Celebs Go Dating before the show first launched but turned it down at the time.”
Nadia has yet to comment herself about the reports.
Nadia's exit comes after Eden Blackman also left the show. Alongside returning receptionist Tom Read Wilson, joining for season 5 will be new matchmaker Paul Carrick Branson.
The line up of celebs for the new series includes Sugababes star Mutya Buena, TOWIE's Chloe Sims and Love Island's Olivia Attwood and Goggleboxer Amy Tapper.
Joining them are Made In Chelsea's Alik Alfus, Love Island's Eyal Booker, TOWIE star and blogger Vas J Morgan and Diversity dancer Sam Craske, and Ibiza Weekender's Callum Alexandré Izzard.
Celebs Go Dating airs on E4.
