Love Island star Dani Dyer could sign up for Dancing On Ice in 2019.

The winner of this year's series could follow in the footsteps of Kem Cetinay, who won Love Island last year and took in Dancing On Ice in January.

According to tabloid reports, ITV are desperate to get Dani on the cast and have offered a £100,000 fee.

"They are breaking the bank to get her on board. And they are hoping a six-figure deal will be enough to tempt her," a source told the Daily Star.

The insider claimed that Dani was "seriously considering" signing up.

"She knows it would be a big platform for her and also a great experience," they said. "It's just a case of working out if she has the time to do it.

"Doing Dancing On Ice is a big commitment because there are months of training before the first show even airs."

Whether or not Dani ends up on the show remains to be seen, with the 2019 Dancing On Ice line up not confirmed until the end of the year.

But as work on the cast gets underway, it's been claimed that some of those approached have declined the offer.

An insider recently claimed to the Daily Mirror that some stars had turned down the series over fears of being left injured.

They said: “Most of them love watching the show, but aren’t very keen on signing up. They reckon there could be too much of a risk of being injured.”

It was X Factor singer Jake Quickenden who was crowned the winner of Dancing On Ice's comeback series.

Confirming the show's return for 2019, Siobhan Greene, Head of Entertainment Commissioning, ITV, said “The show's welcome back has exceeded our expectations and it's been fantastic to see the audience at home loving it. The recommission is a no brainer and it's brilliant for everyone involved to know it'll be back next year.”

Katie Rawcliffe, ITV Studios Creative Director, added: “All of us missed Dancing on Ice while the show was off screen and it seems all our viewers did too… our on screen changes have been brilliantly received and we’re looking forward to getting our skates on for series two.”

Dancing On Ice airs on ITV.
