There is no episode of Big Brother 2018 on TV tonight (Saturday) due to new scheduling changes.

The new series of Big Brother started earlier this month on Friday, September 14 on Channel 5.

The live launch ran from 9PM with host Emma Willis just days after Celebrity Big Brother the previous Monday.

But from the launch, the series will shift to 10PM nightly, including Friday eviction nights.

What’s more, there will be NO Saturday highlights episodes for the 2018 series – which is why there is NO Big Brother tonight.

Instead, Sunday night’s shows have been extended by 30 minutes to compensate.

Alongside the main show, ‘Big Brother’s Bit on the Side’ will still air weeknights with Rylan Clark-Neal. Joining him will be a variety of celebrity panellists, talking heads and an audience of BB fans to debate hot topics, reveal exclusives and go behind the scenes of the main show.

It’s set to be FINAL ever series of Big Brother on UK TV.

Channel 5 confirmed ahead of the launch that it had dropped Big Brother and Celebrity Big Brother after seven years. Neither show will in 2019 on its network.

In a statement, Channel 5 said: “The forthcoming series of Big Brother will be the last – of either celebrity or civilian versions – on Channel 5. We’d like to thank Endemol and all of the production team who have worked tirelessly to make the show a success.

“We’d also like to thank our brilliant presenters – Emma on Big Brother and Rylan from Bit on the Side – for their consummate professionalism, Marcus, the voice of Big Brother and all of the housemates who have created so many memorable moments.

“Most importantly, we’d like to thank fans of the show for their support over the last seven years. We look forward to giving the final series a brilliant send-off.”

The last ever series of Big Brother airs Sunday-Friday nights at 10PM. The season is expected to last 53 days, placing the final in November.
