Ryan Thomas has become the favourite to win Celebrity Big Brother 2018.

It follows Roxanne Pallett quitting Celebrity Big Brother in the wake of her clashes with Ryan.

Things kicked off after a controversial ‘altercation’ between Roxanne and Ryan Thomas last week. Ryan was given a warning by Big Brother for ‘unwanted physical contact’ after Roxanne complained that he had been ‘violent’ towards her.

However the vast majority of viewers felt Roxanne overreacted to the whole thing, with many even calling for her to be removed from the house.

In Friday night’s live show, Roxy found herself booed by the studio audience and left shortly after.

Ryan Thomas is now the odds on favourite to win Celebrity Big Brother after BoyleSports punters show their support for the former Corrie star amidst the ‘punchgate’ scandal with Roxanne.

Having been the 5/2 second favourite to win on Thursday, behind Kirstie Alley who went even money, Ryan was beginning to slip away in the betting, but that all changed on Friday.

A rush of bets sparked the start of Ryan’s takeover in the betting and he was backed into 6/5 then 4/7 and is now the red hot favourite at 1/4.

Kirstie Alley has been eased out to second in the betting to Ryan at 10/3 with Dan Osbourne next at the much larger odds of 20/1.

Aoife Heffron, Spokesperson for BoyleSports commented: “Now Roxanne has left the Celebrity Big Brother house, things have begun to settle down and Ryan is beginning to realise that the public are behind him in all the drama and false allegations.”

She added “It’s evident by the sheer volume of bets we have received on Ryan to win since Friday morning that everyone is Team Ryan and willing him to take the crown as his odds drastically shortened from 5/2 second to the now unstoppable 1/4 favourite.”
