Rodrigo Alves has been REMOVED from the Celebrity Big Brother 2018 house, Channel 5 have announced.

Big Brother bosses say he was removed following a "further incident" last night.

Rodrigo was put on a 'final warning' just 24 hours into the series following his use of the 'N word'. The scenes from launch night sparked almost 1,000 complaints to TV watchdog Ofcom.

Today, Big Brother announced: "After a further incident, Rodrigo has been removed from the Big Brother House and will not be returning. #CBB"

Producers have yet to expand on what exactly happened, with Rodrigo's exit expected to play out in tonight's highlights on Channel 5.

Earlier, it was claimed that Rodrigo had walked out of the house after Natalie Nunn's eviction.

It was Natalie who was evicted from Celebrity Big Brother last night, becoming the first housemate to be evicted this series.

According to The Sun newspaper, Natalie's close friend Rodrigo stormed out of the house shortly after midnight.

A source shared: "Rodrigo really wasn't happy when Natalie left. He threw a diva strop and stomped off to the diary room.

“Bosses tried to persuade him to stay but he was having none of it. He walked out just three hours after Natalie left the house. Everyone is still in shock.”

While all the drama was going on inside the Big Brother house last night, outside Natalie backed Rodrigo to win during her exit interview on Bit On The Side.

"I want Rodrigo to win the show because I love him and he has so much energy," she told host Rylan Clark-Neal. "He is going to do what I would do in the house. I can live through Rodrigo in the show. Rodrigo deserves to win."

His exit is the latest controversy to hit the series, with Channel 5's chief admitting yesterday he was "furious" when star signing Stormy Daniels pulled out hours before launch.

Celebs currently left in the house are Hollywood actress Kirstie Alley, Coronation Street actor Ryan Thomas and headline grabbing footballer Jermaine Pennant.

Joining them are model Chloe Ayling, soap star Roxanne Pallett, The Only Way Is Essex star Dan Osborne and Gabby Allen, a Love Islander from Season 3 in 2017.

Also on the cast are Comic, Radio and TV presenter Hardeep Singh Kohli, Married At First Sight star Ben Jardine, TV psychic Sally Morgan and rogue trader Nick Leeson.

Celebrity Big Brother continues nightly on Channel 5.

The next episode, featuring Rodrigo's exit, airs tonight (Saturday, August 26) at 10PM.

Alongside the main show, Rylan Clark-Neal hosts Bit On The Side nightly.

The next live show takes place next Tuesday night with Emma Willis.
