Love Island’s Megan Barton Hanson to join The Only Way Is Essex cast?

Love Islander Megan Barton Hanson has been rumoured to join The Only Way Is Essex cast.

It was Jack and Dani who won Love Island this year in the final

Rivals Laura & Paul were runners up, Josh & Kaz finished in third and Wes & Megan ended the series in 4th place.

Despite missing out on the £50,000 prize, Megan is still set to cash in after her appearance on the show.

As well as modelling and product endorsement deals, she’s been tipped to join the cast of TOWIE.

Show bosses are said to be considering inviting her to appear after finding out she’s already pals with some of the show’s stars.

A source told The Sun newspaper: “TOWIE is one of the most popular shows on TV and bosses are always on the lookout for fresh talent.

“Megan is a really big character and would fit in well. But bosses don’t just pick names and drop them into the mix.”

They added: “They need to have a storyline and established friendships within the group.”

Megan herself said after leaving the villa she wanted to leave her past behind her.

“I never want to go back to previous jobs I had like glamour modelling,” she said. “I was in that industry for a long time – since I was 20 years old and I want to move on now.”

Reports have claimed that all of this year’s finalists could end up as millionaires off the back of the show.

Over 4 million viewers watched the latest series, making it the biggest season to date.

According to the Daily Star newspaper, even the likes of Ellie Brown – who didn’t make the final – could cash in with earnings of around £200,000 thanks to the villa.

Love Island will return to ITV for a fifth season next summer.
