After the success of this year’s run – which had over 4 million viewers in the final – another series was always going to happen.

Now it’s official and applications are already open.

Appearing in the Series 4 reunion show on Sunday night, host Caroline Flack announced there had been 25,000 applications already.

She said: “If you think you have what it takes to flirt outrageously with people like this lot then applications for next year are now open.

“We’ve already had 25,000 people register.”

In the 2019 application process, ITV ask: “How do you fancy enjoying your very own long hot summer of romance? Love Island will be back for summer 2019 and we’re now on the look out for lively singles from across the country to take part.

“Once again our Islanders will take up residence in a spectacular luxury villa in the hope of finding love. But to stay on the island, they need to couple up – and more importantly – win the hearts of the public.”

In order to apply, you need to be at least 18, have valid travel documents and be free to enjoy a long hot summer next year.

To apply, visit the official ITV2 website HERE.

As well as the £50,000 cash prize, those who make an impact can make millions outside the villa.

Past Islanders have gone to have their very own shows, release music singles, score presenting gigs and enjoy modelling work.

2017 Islanders Chris Hughes and Kem Cetinay are both said to have made over £1 million in the past 12 months.

Love Island 2019 will air next summer on ITV, with the series usually beginning the first week of June.
