Love Island 2018 spoilers: Dani & Jack come face to face with Danny Dyer
The Islanders’ friends and family enter the Love Island 2018 villa tonight.
In their toughest task yet, the couples must ‘meet the parents’ as they finally hear what their friends and family have to say about their other halves.
Throughout the day, each of the Islanders receives a visit from two of their loved ones, and amidst tears and a lot of emotion, the families give their thoughts on the couples.
Dani meanwhile gets the surprise of her life when, after a visit from her nan and granddad, she is called to the living room for a video call with her parents!
Breaking down in tears as she sees her dad Danny and mum Jo for the first time in eight weeks, Dani shrieks: “Oh my God I miss you.”
Straight talking dad Danny is full of praise for his beloved daughter, as he tells her: “No listen, I will say, I got it wrong baby. I told you not to do it. We’re so proud of you, you are incredible. You’re an absolute hero babe.”
Eager to get their approval on Jack, Dani asks for her dad’s verdict: “Babe he’s lovely. He’s a proper geezer mate. You’ve found a right proper geezer in there.”
When Dani’s mum suggests that Danny has been showing lots of emotion watching her on screen, Danny retorts: “I ain’t been crying every night. I haven’t cried that much, honestly.”
Dani then runs off to find Jack, and he finally comes face to face with the other man in Dani’s life.
Danny admits he initially had reservations: “Listen, I approve of you mate. I think you’re absolutely bang on. I weren’t at first, I thought ‘oh here we go’.”
Fortunately for Jack though, Danny is full of compliments: “Look at him, look at him. Look at his little face. Do you know what Jack, listen. Proper geezer, gotta say. I’ll tell you what I love about you, I love the fact you got a little Derby.
“You got so much charisma. Takes a brave man to bowl into that gaff, them all ‘abbed up’, proper geezer. Honestly mate, we’re so over the moon.”
Back in the Beach Hut, Jack expresses his relief at getting the seal of approval, saying: “It’s nerve wracking. The fact that he approves of me and he likes me, I just thought ‘that’s brilliant.’ Dani must feel so relieved.”
