A teaser at the end of tonight’s episode of Love Island 2018 saw the remaining contestants being put through the lie detector task, which proved a hit on last summer’s series.

In a video clip, Josh was seen being quizzed on his relationship with Kaz.

“Will you stay loyal to Kaz?” Megan asked.

Viewers are already excited for the drama to come.

“The lie detector test. The episode we’ve all been waiting for, give us the dramaaaaa. #LoveIsland,” one tweeted tonight.

Another fan posted: “About bloody time for the lie detector. Finally some drama and entertainment #LoveIsland”

Meanwhile, tonight’s Love Island results saw another couple leave the villa. it was Stephanie Lam and Josh Maier who left after a public vote.

In tonight’s episode, a text arrived with those dreaded words: “Islanders please gather around the fire pit immediately.”

Aware of what is to come, Alex muttered: “Never simple is it? Never simple this place. Never an easy ride.”

As they gathered in their couples, the fateful news was delivered in a further text: “Islanders, the public have been voting for their favourite couple. The couple with the fewest votes will be dumped from the island tonight. The safe couples will now be announced in no particular order.”

Steph and Josh, who both entered the villa last Sunday night, were announced as the couple with the fewest votes and left the villa.
