Former Love Island contestant Gabby Allen is rumoured for Celebrity Big Brother.
Gabby appeared on the show last year where she coupled up with Blazin’ Squad singer Marcel Somerville.
The pair made it to the final week and continued dating outside of the villa.
However they split up earlier in 2018 after a year together, amid rumours that Marcel had cheated on her.
Now Gabby is set to return to TV, this time on Channel 5 in Celebrity Big Brother.
“Gabby was devastated when she found out Marcel had cheated on her,” a source told The Sun newspaper reported in July. “She really thought he was the one and has been left heartbroken by what he did.
“Doing something like Celebrity Big Brother was never on her radar, but after their break up she wanted to do something challenging to help push her out of her comfort zone.”
They added: “Enough time has passed now and she won’t be afraid to tell all about their failed relationship and the effect it had on her.”
The source claimed that Gabby hopes the show will allow her to “get over Marcel once and for all.”
Gabby herself has now spoken out about the rumours, teasing: “I had a meeting but I don’t know yet.
“I will let you know when I know. Hopefully, hopefully.”
Admitting she wanted to do more reality TV, Gabby added: “Big Brother will show me on my own than rather in a relationship, so we shall see.”
The summer Celebrity Big Brother series has an ‘eye of the storm’ theme.
More rumoured Celebrity Big Brother housemates include Meghan Markle’s sister Samantha Grant, footballer Jermaine Pennant and Kieran Hayler, the estranged husband of former Celebrity Big Brother winner herself Katie Price.
TOWIE’s Dan Osborne, Hollywood actress Kirstie Alley, So Macho hitmaker Sinitta, ‘Human Ken Doll’ Rodrigo Alves, Emmerdale star Roxanne Pallet and television psychic Sally Morgan
Celebrity Big Brother 2018 begins this Thursday, August 16 at 9PM on Channel 5.
