Zara McDermott and Adam Collard reunited on Love Island’s Aftersun on Sunday night.
It followed Adam’s exit from the villa in a quadruple elimination last week.
Zara had left the villa a week earlier and vowed to wait for Adam.
However he seemed to quickly move on, snogging new girl Darylle Sargeant.
But on Aftersun, Adam insisted that Darylle was not the woman for him and he was in LOVE with Zara.
He told host Caroline Flack: “Totally, I totally love Zara. The problem is I won the show too early, when I met Zara. I do love her.”
Appearing on Love Island’s Aftersun last week, Zara had reacted to Adam’s kiss with Darylle: “I’ve been mugged off so bad.”
As Adam’s betrayal unfolded in front of Zara’s eyes, she admitted “I can’t watch this, I actually can’t watch it”, before venting “Here we go again…Rosie part two.”
She added: “How can he kiss someone so quickly?”
But Adam later cooled things off with Darylle, saying in the villa: “Me and Darylle get on well, she’s hot. But I’d be lying if I said there wasn’t still feelings there for Zara. I did really like her. Honestly I thought if I went to Casa Amor and threw myself into someone I would just forget about it. But I definitely have feelings for Zara.”
Speaking after his exit, Adam said: “I am excited to see what’s to come. I’m obviously gutted to leave some of my friends because I do really think that I’ve made some good friends for life but I’m looking forward to seeing what is to come. And I’m looking forward to seeing Zara and my family and friends.
“Zara said something along the lines of ‘I’ll be waiting outside, I’ll be waiting with ten thousand or twenty thousand kisses.’ I do really, really want to see her, I’m excited for that.”
And he ruled a return, explaining: “No I wouldn’t go back in there now. I want to see Zara. That is my priority now. I was ready to come out, especially when I knew I had feelings for Zara.”
Love Island airs nightly on ITV2 at 9PM. Aftersun airs at 10PM on Sunday nights.
