If you missed out and are wondering what happened on Love Island last night, we’ve got you covered.

In yesterday evening’s episode, a mass elimination occurred following the latest recoupling after the Casa Amor twist.

Last week the islanders were split in two groups, with the men being sent off to the sneaky second villa.

Six new girls joined the boys in the second villa while new boys joined the original girls in the main villa.

After the newbies and the original Islanders spent time getting to know one another over the weekend, Monday night saw a major recoupling.

In the main villa, Megan got a text: “Girls tonight there will be a recoupling in which you must decide whether to remain coupled up with your boy who has been living in Casa Amor or twist and recouple with a new boy. #StickOrTwist #WheresYourHeadAt”

In Casa Amor, Dr Alex also got a text: “Boys, tonight there will be a recoupling in which you must decide whether to remain coupled up with your partner back in the villa or recouple with a new girl. #StickOrTwist #CasaNoMore”

Here’s how the recoupling went down…

Megan Barton Hanson recoupled with new boy Alex Miller

Laura Anderson recoupled with new boy Jack Fowler

Wes Nelson chose not to recouple and returned to the villa on his own and is now single.

Samira Mighty recoupled with new boy Frankie Foster.

Sam Bird recoupled with new girl Ellie Jones.

Ellie Brown recoupled with new boy Charlie Brake.

Dr Alex George recoupled with new girl Grace Wardle.

Adam Collard recoupled with new girl Darylle Sargeant.

Dani Dyer and Jack Fincham recoupled with one another.

Josh Denzel recoupled with new girl Kazimir Crossley.

Georgia Steel stayed loyal to Josh but is now single.

Any new Islanders left single were dumped from the Island. Charlie Williams, Savanna Darnell, Dean Overson and Jordan Adefeyisan were the unlucky singletons after the recoupling and left Love Island.

The total of now 20(!) Islanders are sharing the same villa, making for some very awkward situations.

Georgia is fuming with Josh for dumping her while Dani is NOT happy with Jack’s ex Ellie Jones joining the group.

Ellie had been one of the new girls and Dani found out about her history with Jack via a video message from the second villa.

Although Jack stayed loyal to Dani, Ellie was chosen to return to the main villa by original Islander Sam Bird.

Meanwhile, in more Love Island news, last night’s show broke viewing figure records again.
