Adam Collard is already looking to move on from Zara McDermott on Love Island 2018 tonight.

Adam’s current partner Zara was dumped from the show in last night’s double elimination.

Calling into the villa unexpectedly yesterday evening as the Islanders enjoyed the night together, host Caroline Flack had a dramatic announcement.

She told them: “Hi Islanders, come and gather around the fire pit. I’m sure you’re all wondering why I’m here. I have some very important news. The public have been voting for their favourite couple.”

Caroline then announced the three couples with the fewest votes as Megan & Eyal, Alex & Ellie, Zara & Adam.

It was then revealed the girls who were safe had to pick one of the three boys to go home, while the safe boys had to choose one girl to eliminate.

The girls sent home Eyal Booker while the boys chose to get rid of Zara McDermott, who was left in tears by the news.

Zara has since spoken out after leaving and vowed to wait for Adam on the outside.

She told the Daily Mirror: “I’ll be waiting for Adam on the outside. We had such an intense relationship in the villa. I mean, we spent so much time together – more, I’d say, than any of the other couples did.

“So yeah, I’m really looking forward to seeing him, I’m looking forward to seeing what he gets up to. Hopefully he doesn’t stray too far – yeah, everything will be great when he comes out.”

But tonight sees Adam eyeing up six new girls who join the show as part of a mega second villa twist.

He says: “The way I’m going to judge it is obviously I did really like Zara. I do really like her, but at the same time I’m just going to see if someone has as much of an effect on me as her. That’s the bottom line.”

Meanwhile, Wes Nelson is also considering jumping ship despite all the drama caused by his recent coupling up with Megan.

He said of the new girls: “Could my head be turned? Absolutely. It was turned after three weeks. So could it be turned after a day? Yeah, it could.”

Love Island 2018 airs nightly on ITV2 at 9PM.
