One girl will be dumped from Love Island 2018 in a shock recoupling tonight.

Love Island bosses have revealed the latest elimination will take place this evening.

“Big news shakes the villa,” the end of last night’s episode teased.

In the preview, Rosie was seen receiving a text which read: “Tonight there will be a recoupling where the boys will choose who they want to couple up with.

“The girl not picked will be dumped from the island.”

As things stand, the official couples are Dani Dyer & Jack Fincham, Laura Anderson & Wes Nelson, Georgia Steel & Josh Denzel, Megan Barton Hanson & Eyal Booker, Samira Mighty & Alex George and Rosie Williams & Adam Collard.

However earlier this week saw new girls Ellie Brown and Zara McDermott drop in.

Zara has since seemingly got with Adam while Alex has paired up with Ellie, ahead of Friday’s official recoupling.

That’s left Samira and Rosie without a partner, before new guy Sam Bird joined the villa in Thursday’s show.

Ahead of entering the villa, Sam said: “I think I’ll inject energy into the villa. Everyone in there seems a bit more chilled, and I’m quite reckless. I make quick decisions.

“I don’t really think about what I say, I’m very impulsive. That will bode well with the girls I think. They’re waiting for someone with a bit of energy.”

He added: “All the girls in there are beautiful. It’s still early days so they’re all fair game.”

Both Sam and Samira were instantly taken in by Sam’s looks.

Samira reacted: “The new guy came to the villa. Sam, Sam…ira, but Sam. Its like meant to be!”

Rosie gushed: “He’s obviously good looking, he’s got a cheeky smile, so yeah, first impressions he’s done well so we’ll see.”

But who will he and the other guys choose and who will be the unlucky girl left single and heading home?

Love Island results air Friday night.

Love Island airs nightly at 9PM on ITV2.
