Two couples face eviction from Love Island 2018 – who do you want to stay?

A surprise new twist in Thursday’s show saw the Islanders nominate one another for eviction.

The previous night had seen the third recoupling of the series. Dani Dyer chose Jack Fincham, Laura Anderson partnered up with Wes Nelson, Hayley Hughes picked Charlie Frederick, Georgia Steel coupled up with Josh Denzel, Megan Barton Hanson partnered with Eyal Booker, Samira Mighty chose Alex George and finally, Rosie Williams coupled up with Adam Collard.

However one of the couples will leave the villa forever on Friday, with Alex & Samira and Hayley & Charlie the ones in danger.

In tonight’s show, a text revealed that the pairings were going to have to make a difficult decision that put two couples in danger.

In Thursday’s episode, Eyal received the bombshell news as the Islanders enjoyed an evening together in the villa.

It read: “Islanders, tonight each couple must vote for the two couples who they think are least compatible.

“Those who receive the most votes risk being dumped from the island tomorrow. You must now discuss in your couples who you are going to choose and then submit your decision by text.

“You must not discuss your decision with anyone else #theglovesareoff #judgementday.”

Retreating to a private space in their couples, the debate began at length.

Each of the couples then texted the two couples they were nominating for eviction via their phones.

With the most votes from their fellow Islanders, Alex & Samira and Charlie and Hayley face the axe.

Viewers will vote to keep their favourite and the couple with the fewest votes will be sent packing.

Bookies have already installed Charlie and Hayley as the favourites to go.

Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes said: “Fans love Alex and Samira, so the odds suggest Charlie and Hayley’s time is up in the villa.”

Love Island 2018 results air on Friday at 9PM on ITV2.
