It all kicks off on Love Island 2018 tonight between Adam Collard and Rosie Williams.

But what did Adam do? It’s all about new girl Megan Barton Hanson.

Just days after ditching Kendall in favour of Rosie, Adam is about to play a dangerous game when he makes advances towards Megan. But unbeknown to Adam, Megan is unimpressed by his behaviour and fills Rosie in on his duplicitous actions, with explosive consequences….

In the Beach Hut, Adam admits he wants to slow things down with Rosie, and also alludes to an attraction towards Megan: “I think me and Rosie are moving a little bit too into the relationship bracket, which is not really on in here is it? Yeah, I think we should probably slow things down a little bit, just a tad.

“You can’t say that you don’t have a roving eye in here, I don’t think any boy could possibly. Megan obviously, she’s very nice. If I was to say that I wasn’t looking at her in some sort of way and had an attraction, I would be lying. With Rosie, it’s early doors. Megan does intrigue me and she seems like a nice girl but I haven’t really spoken to her for very long at all.”

Seizing his moment in the garden with Megan, Adam sets about launching his own charm offensive, questioning Megan on why she didn’t choose him as one of her three dates.

Discussing his hesitations about Rosie, Adam reveals: “It’s a bit of a funny one at the minute. It’s a bit like, it’s good, don’t get us wrong. But I’m not a person for a lot of public affection. I train in the gym with the lads and she hovers round. Do you know what I mean? I came in here to get to know people and to get to know what I actually like in a person, and I think a couple of alarm bells started ringing.”

Unsettled by their conversation, and torn over her loyalties towards new friend Rosie, Megan informs the Beach Hut she is unimpressed by Adam’s advances towards her.

She says: “I just feel in a really weird headspace right now. After speaking to Adam. Rosie’s my friend so I know I have to go and tell her but I just hate confrontation. She’s a lovely girl and I think it’s really, really sneaky, the way Adam’s played it.”

Wasting no time, Megan finds Rosie upstairs in the villa, and with some of the other girls present, recounts her conversation with Adam.

She says: “I think he’s scraping the barrel to find excuses to move on. I just feel like such a stirrer. I just don’t want to hurt you. His ego is so big. I just hate upsetting you. You were so happy yesterday.”

Voicing her disdain for Adam and his actions in the Beach Hut, Rosie rants: “Adam’s just sly. He has just slagged me off behind my back and he makes out that he puts such an importance on honesty. But clearly he’s just led me on, said things to me that he knows will make me think we’re OK and then gone and chatted up one of my new best friends in here. I mean, what a guy.”

Speaking to Georgia, Rosie reveals she is ready to take on her revenge on Adam: “I know what I’m going to do. I’m not just doing this for me though. I’m doing this for every girl that’s been played by a playboy and has been feeling the way I feel today.”

With all of the Islanders gathered in the garden for the evening, Rosie publicly confronts Adam and demands an immediate explanation.

Justifying his comments about Rosie to the other boys, Adam insists: “She just loves a drama. I’m not Jack and Dani, I’m not Laura and Wes. I don’t feel like I can compare me and Rosie to you two. I don’t feel like I’m at that level yet. If someone asks me ‘where are you at?’ I’m not going to lie and butter it up.”

Still raging from their head-to-head, Rosie vents further in the Beach Hut: “I’m so angry with him. I don’t think I can give him another chance. I don’t think he can redeem himself from this.”

Love Island 2018 airs tonight at 9PM on ITV2.
