Love Island’s Dani Dyer is already telling everyone who her famous father is

Dani Dyer wastes no time in revealing who her famous father is when Love Island 2018 begins tonight.

Dani, daughter of EastEnders actor Danny Dyer, is one of five girls who enters the villa this evening.

And she quickly strikes up a chat with Jack, one of the six guys starting the show.

Discussing her future ambitions, Dani reveals: “I’ve always wanted to do acting. My dad’s an actor. Having that in your family, when you’re on set, it was weird for me, being brought up with it, I thought ‘I like this.’

A curious Jack asks who her dad is, which prompts Dani to declare: “My dad…let’s just get it out the way. My dad’s Danny Dyer.”

Jack reacts: “When Dani told me that her dad’s Danny Dyer, I just thought ‘what?’ I’m not going to lie to you, I love him as an actor.”

Dani says: “I had to bring up my dad, I knew sooner or later that I would mention who my dad was. And it was actually a really nice reaction. Usually boys get a little bit…they start getting all ‘gangster’ and they start quoting films. He didn’t quote one quote and I thought ‘thank god for that.”

She goes on to admit that Jack appears to be her type on paper, which is apparently a bad thing.

Dani explains: “I like his personality, but with the trainers, the hair…I thought ‘you’ve done it again Dan’…my mates would go to me ‘what are you doing Dan?”

Meanwhile, Jack tells the beach hut of his unusual plan to win Dani’s affection.

He plots: “To be fair I’m going give Dani a lifetime’s supply of highlighters so that when she’s learning her lines for her acting, she’s going to think of me…she can’t forget me then can she?”
