Gemma Collins and James ‘Arg’ Argent ‘in talks for their own reality show’
Gemma Collins and James ‘Arg’ Argent are reportedly in talks for their own reality series.
The Only Way Is Essex duo are said to be set for their very own show on ITVBe.
However there appears to be a sticking point over the name.
A source told The Sun newspaper: “ITVbe and Lime Pictures are both really keen on getting them to sign a deal – and it shouldn’t be too long before they come to an agreement.
“At the moment they’re undecided about a title; Gemma and Arg both love ‘Gemma and Arg Go Large’ but they’re having some trouble convincing bosses it’s the right name.”
The insider says the show would focus on Gemma and Arg’s on/off relationship and offer viewers unique “insight into their romance.”
Gemma previously said she’d love her very own series and admitted she had “a few offers on the table.”
“I would love my own show,” Gemma said. “I’d like to show people things like the real life of Gemma Collins.
“But please God it will happen, I’d love it to happen. It’d be fabulous, it’d be glitter and feathers everywhere.”
If Gemma and Arg do get their own series, they’ll be far from the first TOWIE stars to do so.
Currently airing on ITVBe are reality shows from Ferne McCann plus Sam and Billie Faiers.
