There's a new favourite to win Britain's Got Talent 2018 as the live shows continue.
Britain’s Got Talent has a new favourite after the first of the semi-finals finals churned out their first finalist’s on Monday night.
Comic, Lost Voice Guy, or Lee Ridley now heads the outright betting as the one to be beat after his odds crashed following his semi-final 1 victory. The hilarious 31-year-old, who lost his voice as a result of cerebral palsy was heavily backed by punters from 6/1 to win into the new 6/4 firm favourite.
This isn’t the first time Lost Voice Guy’s odds have been slashed as early support from punters saw BoyleSports cut him from his initial price of 16/1 to 6/1 ahead of his semi-final performance.
Also making it through on Monday night, as a result of the judges vote, were wartime choir The D-Day Darlings. Even though they are through to the final, they have drifted for the title and are now 12/1 shots from 8/1.
Looking ahead to tonight’s semi-final 2 and the overall outright betting suggests it will be a close call between Magus Utopia and singer Ronan Busfield as they are both priced at 14/1.
Aoife Heffron, Spokesperson for BoyleSports commented “Lost Voice Guy was undoubtedly the stand out performance from the first of the Britain’s Got Talent semi-finals and has set the bar very high for his fellow finalists, who have yet to be decided, as his punters obliterated his odds of 6/1 and made him the new 6/4 favourite and very large liability to take the BGT title.”
