Great British Bake Off 2018 is on tonight Channel 4 but when is it back on TV on and who are the judges and hosts?
Here we round up all the latest news and spoilers about the Great British Bake Off 2018 on Channel 4 this year.
Great British Bake Off start time
Channel 4 previously confirmed that the 2018 Bake Off would begin on Tuesday, August 28.
The new series continues tonight September 18 at 8PM with episode four – it’s Dessert week.
Just as with the first run, episodes will air weekly for 75 minutes between 8PM and 9:15PM.
Great British Bake Off contestants
The Great British Bake Off’s 2018 season will see a brand new set of 12 bakers battle it out in 30 challenges over 10 weeks.
At the end of each episode, one will be named star baker while another unlucky one will be sent home.
Based on past years, just three will be left making it through to the final to be crowned the winner.

Bake Off spoilers!
Last week’s episode saw Antony become the third contestant to leave the tent while Rahul won the star baker award for a second week running. Can he make it a hat trick in tonight’s show?
This evening it’s time for another set of brand new challenges.
There is a cracking meringue Signature; a wobbly Technical that breaks the mould; and a complex chocolate Showstopper that promises to reveal all. Which bakers impress Prue and Paul enough to keep their place in the tent? And who will be heading home?
Great British Bake Off 2018 judges
Restaurateur, food writer and novelist Prue Leith will once again be joining Paul Hollywood as judge of The Great British Bake Off when it returns to screens this year.
Paul said this year: “There was a big pressure last year on the move to C4 but this year we have all relaxed into our roles and we have had a really good time filming this time round, everyone has found their niche quite easily and naturally.”
Prue added: “It’s so much more relaxed, we are so settled into our roles now. Paul and I have a really good relationship, I followed his lead at the beginning but now it’s very even handed. He has been absolutely sweet and so professional to work with.”
Great British Bake Off hosts
GBBO hosts Sandi Toksvig OBE and Noel Fielding will also be back to join judges Prue Leith and Paul Hollywood.
Sandi Toksvig OBE said: “It is an extraordinary honour to be part of this national treasure of a show. Noel Fielding is one of the nicest guys in show business. The first time I met him I felt like I had met a rather wayward cousin whose take on the world made me laugh. The only down side is that he has much better dress sense that I do.
“I spend my daytimes on Channel 4 already so it will be a treat to be there in the evenings. I am so delighted to be working with Love Productions and Channel 4 on this best of British show.”
Noel Fielding added: “GBBO is one of my favourite shows. I’ve always loved brightly coloured cakes and Sandi Toksvig so this is a dream come true for me! It’s basically the double.”
Meanwhile, The Great British Bake Off: An Extra Slice is returning with Jo Brand staying as host.
