Away from the latest episode, on Britain’s Got More Talent we met Simon Carvell.

“I think it’s about time that Britain started eating jellied eels,” he told the judges at the start of his audition.

Simon’s act – if you can call it that – was to try and persuade us of the benefits of jellied feels.

You can watch his audition in the video below…

But his ‘audition’ didn’t win over many fans with Alesha Dixon, Simon Cowell and Amanda Holden all buzzing.

As the crowd began to chant ‘Off’, David Walliams also buzzed Simon’s performance.

Alesha remarked: “That is disgusting.”

Simon replied: “I’m not leaving until you’ve tried it.”

However with the judges giving a firm no, it was back home for Simon.

Other acts in the latest episode of Britain’s Got Talent this weekend included ‘silent comic’ Lost Voice Guy and a moving performance from dance group RISE.

The group performed a dance with wheelchairs to help one of the members, Hollie Booth, get back into dancing following injuries she sustained during the Manchester terror attack in 2017.

There was also comedy impressionist Andrew Lancaster and Singing Priest Father Ray Kelly

Britain’s Got More Talent airs Saturday nights on ITV2.

It follows the main series of Britain’s Got Talent 2018 on ITV.
