It follows the on/off pair making their relationship official once more.

New reports have alleged that the couple are only together to cash in on magazine and TV deals.

A source claimed: “The rumour around Essex is that they were encouraged by Towie producers to go with the relationship storyline and Gemma pushed it really hard.”

The insider told heat magazine: “Arg said no, but then Gemma told him he could make £200,000 from deals and interviews if they stayed together for six months.”

However Gemma hit back at the allegations on Twitter, joking she’d need “2 mill” to fake a relationship.

Gemma tweeted: “Not true we are very much in love I’m afraid a showman was contract I would need 2 mill ? it’s not worth it love is love and no amount of money ? would be worth it maybe 2 mill ?money doesn’t bring happiness at all x”

In an interview last week, Gemma said that Arg was now fully committed to them as a couple.

Speaking to OK! Magazine, Gemma revealed: “Every morning he puts on a love song for me and before we go to bed he cuddles me and tells me how beautiful I am. I feel so secure with him.

“We haven’t spent a night apart since we made things official – James has basically moved into my flat.”

She told the publication that the pair had already spoken about plans for marriage and children.

“We’ve seen some beautiful places we’d like to get married in Spain and Essex, but we’re trying not to get ahead of ourselves,” she said. “I’ve made no secret of the fact I really want kids so I don’t think we’ll wait too long before trying for a family.”

The Only Way Is Essex continues Sunday nights on ITVBe.
