The show’s first seven series – those which aired on BBC One – are available to stream from March 31.

In case you’ve already forgotten, the BBC series features Mary Berry and Paul Hollywood as judges with Mel Giedroyc and Sue Perkins hosting.

An audience of more than 13 million watched the last ever show on BBC One back in 2016, before the show moved to Channel 4.

If you’ve not been taken in by Channel 4’s version, Netflix has you covered this Easter.

The addition to Great British Bake Off, Netflix UK is also adding a number of other British TV shows.

They include French and Saunders, Porridge, Almost Royal and The Job Lot.

Also going online from Saturday will be the latest series of Mock The Week and Horrible Histories plus 10 series of Top Gear up to Series 19.

Meanwhile, the Great British Bake Off will return to Channel 4 in 2018 for what will be its ninth series.

Restaurateur, food writer and novelist Prue Leith joins original BBC judge Paul Hollywood on the show.

Paul Hollywood said: “I could not be more delighted by who will be joining me on the show. Prue is a hugely respected culinary legend and Sandi and Noel are warm and utterly hilarious. I cannot wait to get back in the tent with the bakers.”

Prue Leith said: “I am just so thrilled to be joining Paul, Sandi and Noel on the biggest show on TV and I cannot wait to see what the real stars of the show – the bakers – are going to create for us. It is such an honour to be part of The Great British Bake Off team. ”
