The Great British Bake Off’s 2018 celebrity specials continued with just under 4 million viewers last night.

The fourth of five all star episodes, in support of Stand Up To Cancer, was watched by 3.8 million viewers.

The latest show was down 300,000 on last week’s series high but remained up on the opening episodes of the series.

In the fourth instalment, the four brave celebrities ushered into the Bake Off tent were actor and presenter Griff Rhys Jones, comedian Lee Mack, Broadcaster Melanie Sykes and comedian Joe Lycett.

The Great British Bake Off charity specials see a new line up of all star names each week who take part in three challenges before one celeb is crowned Star Baker.

Taking part in the fifth and final episode next week are actress, author and Host/Creator of the YouTube channel Hatching Change Teri Hatcher, Paralympic gold medallist Kadeena Cox, comedian Alan Carr and comedian and actor Aisling Bea.

On ITV, Emmerdale was the most watched show of the day with 6 million viewers. England v Italy’s football match followed with an average of 4.6 million tuning in for the match.

On BBC One, new drama Come Home began with a solid 3.5 million viewers in the 9PM hour. Christopher Eccleston stars in the new three parter, from the makers of Happy Valley, Ordinary Lies and Trust Me, created and written by Danny Brocklehurst.

Earlier on BBC One, EastEnders averaged 5.7 million viewers while Holby City followed with 4 million, both down 300,000 viewers week-on-week.
