The reality regular has appeared on countless shows including Geordie Shore, Celebrity Big Brother and Ex On The Beach.

But this week Marnie revealed she’ll be stepping away from the spotlight after filming no fewer than seven shows back to back.

She explained to The Sun newspaper: “I’m stepping back and I am going to focus on myself for a while.

“I did seven TV shows back to back and it made me so stressed. I felt stressed and drained after I finished Ex On The Beach.

“I didn’t really get to see my family or friends and I was always getting judged by people on social media.”

Marnie explained how she gained two stone and felt “upset” after her non-stop schedule.

“I want to do it for my mental health and I need to get my fitness back on track,” she said.

Marnie recently took to Twitter to announce she was quitting Geordie Shore.

She said: “For everyone keep asking I have in fact permanently left Geordie shore, it was just time to move on, it just wasn’t the same without everyone who left and I made the decision to leave, it was a wild 5 years and I’m really thankful I got to do it!”

Speaking in January, Marnie admitted she found filming the MTV series stressful.

“I find it hard to film. I suffer with OCD and anxiety and I get stressed. I want to keep on top of my work outside the house and you can’t do that when you’re filming,” she told Star magazine. “Everyone thinks it’s easy but it’s actually really hard.”
