The Voice UK will return to ITV next year – with trios able to audition for the first time alongside the usual solo acts and duos.

It’s not yet been confirmed if this year’s coaches – Will.i.am, Sir Tom Jones, Olly Murs and Jennifer Hudson – will be back for the third series on ITV.

But already the search for the UK’s best new vocal talent is on once more, with applications now open for solo singers, duos and now trios.

To apply, you must be aged at least 16 (sixteen) years of age on or before 1 October 2018. Those under 18 must have the consent of their parent or guardian.

Those wanting to apply to The Voice 2019 should head to the website – http://www.itv.com/thevoice/apply

ITV Studios Creative Director Katie Rawcliffe said of the new change: “We know there are many talented trios out there across the UK and we want to offer them the chance to show off their vocal harmonies on The Voice UK stage.”
