Katie Price's new Sky Living reality telly competition has attracted almost 10,000 people to the audition, despite reports suggest the auditions in London yesterday were a flop. A spokesperson for Sky Living insisted the show was set to be a "great success"
Discovered by Katie Price, which will air on the channel later this year, will see the reality star go on the hunt for new modelling talent for her new agency. Auditions have so far been held in Bristol, Leeds and London but turn out is understood to have been a flop.
However yesterday a spokesperson said: "As with her various other business ventures, Katie's new talent agency looks set to be a great success. Almost 10,000 have applied and the panel have spotted star potential across London, Bristol and Leeds, with Birmingham still to go.
"We are delighted with the turnout for auditions for Discovered by Katie Price and have had a fantastic response in the three cities that Katie and the panel have visited so far."
They continued: "As with many shows of this scale, the audition process spans two days, with Katie present for the second day, after a day of producers' auditions – therefore Katie only meets applicants who have successfully progressed past the first stage."
Katie Price's last reality show became a flop for the channel, with just 200,000 viewers tuning in for the last episodes.
