Big Brother 2018 will start on Channel 5 tonight - and here's what to expect.
The new series will be the last ever to air on UK TV, with Channel 5 confirming today it would no longer air the show beyond 2018.
But what time will Big Brother 2018 start on TV this evening nd what's in store for the autumn? Here's all we know so far...
Big changes for Big Brother
The upcoming 'civilian' series is set for a major overhaul - starting with a big twist live tonight.
Host Emma Willis has said that this year's Big Brother would be 'the most competitive ever' and us viewers would have more influence over the house more than ever before.
A teaser posted by the official Big Brother Twitter account added: "One of the most important choices a housemate can make on launch night will have consequences."
"Winning is everything. Only hr most competitive housemates will survive the first week," they added in another clip.
Emma announced earlier this week that the first twist would happen before launch, saying in the CBB final: "One of the new housemates will get an advantage in the game live on launch night, and you will choose who."
Big Brother unveiled a series of clips of the housemates, featuring more cryptic VTs. It revealed the housemates' hometowns, jobs and ages alongside a quote from them but not their full identities.
Based purely on those first impressions, viewers were given the chance to hand one housemate an advantage in the game via a free online poll.
The public's chosen housemate will be unveiled in tonight's launch alongside what advantage they'll have in the game.
Meanwhile, Bit On The Side's Rylan Clark-Neal has revealed even more.
He teased a cryptic coin-like token, which Rylan said would form a big part of the new series and change how the game is played.
Big Brother 2018 start time
Big Brother typically launches in June on Channel 5 but this year has seen some changes. Celebrity Big Brother has instead led the summer season, beginning on August 16.
The Big Brother 2018 air date has now been confirmed for Friday, September 14 at 9PM on Channel 5 with host Emma Willis.
This comes just days after the CBB final on Monday, September 10.
Currently, the series is scheduled to run for 53 days - one fewer than last year.
Both Emma Willis and Rylan Clark-Neal will return to host the main show and spin-off Bit On The Side respectively.
Big Brother auditions
Auditions for Big Brother 2018 took place online earlier this year. You needed to be over 18 by July 31 and have the right to reside in the UK.
To audition, you had to upload a 2 minute video explaining why you'd be a great housemate.
The open auditions are now CLOSED with callbacks for the cast taking place over the summer. According to reports, show bosses went out of their way to search for new 'unknown' faces.
