Jake Quickenden's pro partner has been taken ill ahead of Dancing On Ice's next live show.
Skater Vanessa Bauer has been struck down by Norovirus and may be unable to perform this weekend.
Plans are being put into place for Jake to dance with a 'reserve' pro performer, if Vanessa isn't well enough.
The news comes as Jake and Vanessa planned to take on the dreaded 'head banger' move' in Sunday's episode.
"Vanessa has been diagnosed with Norovirus after being taken ill this week," a source told The Sun newspaper.
They explained: "The couple had planned on tackling the head banger this week but that's now in jeopardy as they may not have enough time to train."
On Valentine's Day, Jake tweeted: "Back to London tomorrow... lost 2 days of training with @TheVanessaBauer so hopefully she’s better or I could be dancing on my own... shit happens and her health is more important, so hard work tomorrow to get a routine ready for Sunday ✌🏽"
He added later ahead of Sunday's show: "Massive respect to @TheVanessaBauer dragging herself to come rehearse today, glad you’re feeling better... let’s do this, good session today!! Get some rest see you tomorrow".
Last Sunday night saw the eight remaining celebrities skating together for the fifth time.
In the skate off, judges Jayne Torvill, Christopher Dean, Jason Gardiner and Ashley Banjo decided who to save after the couples skated again.
Jason, Ashley and Jayne all saved Donna, leaving Lemar to go home. Although his casting vote was not needed, head judge Chris also saved Donna.
After Lemar's exit, those on the celebrity line up alongside Jake and Vanessa and Donna and her professional skater Mark Hanretty include Alex Beresford and pro skater Brianne Delcourt.
They're joined by rugby hunk Max Evans and his pro skater Ale Izquierdo, and Coronation Street Brooke Vincent and her pro partner Matej Silecky.
Also back on the ice are Love Island's Kem Cetinay and his pro partner Alex Murphy and Corrie actor Antony Cotton and Brandee Malto.
This weekend will see a DOUBLE elimination as two celebrities are given the boot in a three-way skate off.
Dancing On Ice continues on Sunday night on ITV.
