Another selection of singing hopefuls will perform on The Voice UK stage this Saturday night.

One of those we meet is 41-year-old Wendi Harriot, a Backing Singer from London.

She sings Rolling Stones (Aretha Franklin Version)’s Satisfaction

But will she convince any of the coaches to turn around?

It’s week 5 of the singing contest this weekend, as the four coaches continue to build up their teams.

Newbie Olly Murs joins Will.i.am, Sir Tom Jones and Jennifer Hudson on this year’s panel, who are on a quest to uncover the best vocal talent that Britain has to offer.

Once again, this year’s winner will scoop a life changing record contract with Polydor Records.

As always, the first stage is the blind auditions where the contestants must hold their nerve as they sing to the backs of the coaches.

If any of them like what they hear, they hit their buzzer to spin around and select that artist for their teams of ten.

After the first four weeks, Olly currently leads the way with seven of his ten acts chosen. Both Will and Sir Tom have six while Jennifer has only half her spaces filled as things stand.

Other acts performing this weekend include 16-year-old student Saskia Eng from Edinburgh who sings London Grammar’s Strong.

We also meet 25-year-old Paige Young from Essex who is currently a part time Personal Trainer / Musician. At her blind audition, she sings Camila Cabello’s Crying In The Club.

And this weekend, it’s not just the contestants who perform.

Will.i.am is seen rapping his classic hit Where Is The Love on The Voice UK this Saturday.

The Black Eyed Peas star performs the song to the audience during a break in filming.

Will gets the crowd on their feet with his performance, as more acts prepare to take to the stage during the blind auditions.

Meanwhile, Backstage hosting will be Emma Willis who returns to preside over the latest action as each vocalist, or singing duo, seeks to claim a place in one of the coaches’ teams at the Blind Auditions.

The Voice UK 2018 airs Saturday night on ITV.
