I’m A Celebrity’s latest series won the claim to Best Challenge Show last month at the 2018 NTAs, beating The Great British Bake Off, MasterChef and Love Island.

But after the cast gathered with the award backstage, one of the celebrity contestants apparently walked off with it.

Toff revealed the award was still missing this week: “I was so worried about that because as the winner I was suspect number one.”

However she insisted to DigitalSpy: “Thankfully… You know what, I handed it over to Amir Khan… That was when I last had hands on our NTA.

“Well I don’t want to point any fingers but…”

“The award was being passed around on the night of the NTAs,” a source told The Sun newspaper. “People were desperate to take a selfie with it and obviously with everyone sloshed it got lost.

“From next year they’ll be banned – they’re that angry. The trophy has gone walkies.”

Speaking on his talkRadio show, finalist Iain Lee spilled: “One of the celebrities has stolen the NTA.

“The producers rang me up the day after. My money is on Dennis Wise.”

He explained: “She [the producer] said, ‘someone’s walked off with it and we don’t know where it is’. And I’m ringing round all of them, I don’t think it’s you, to see if they know where it was.

“I said, ‘no I haven’t got it. But I would say that, bearing in mind you’re talking to a strawberry thief’.

“One of the celebrities from I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! 2017 has stolen the National Television Award trophy.”

In accepting the award at the O2 Arena last Tuesday night, hosts Ant and Dec said: “It has been quite a year but this has really topped it off.
