The police are reportedly investigating MTV's reality series Geordie Shore after scenes showed cast members involved in fights were aired in the latest episode. According to The Sun, the investigation into the series centres on alleged assault and public disorder in clubs.
The show's episodes have seen the cast members getting into various scuffles and punch ups at clubs when out on the town, and now police want to talk to cast members and bosses.
An insider told the tabloid: "Officers are watching the show for incidents that could be seen as disorder or assault."
A spokeswoman from Northumbria Police added: "We can confirm police are making initial inquiries into incidents that have taken place in Newcastle city centre."
