Former Celebrity Big Brother housemate Heavy D has applied to be on Love Island this summer.
The reality TV personality, real name Colin Newell, took part in the 18th series of Celebrity Big Brother in 2016.
Now the Storage Hunters star is eyeing up another stint on screen.
He tweeted his followers this week that he had applied for ITV2’s Love Island.
Sharing his audition video, Heavy D said: “Just submitted my application for @LoveIsland you need me on your show! Over to you @ITV…”

In the video, Heavy D says: “Hey, it’s Heavy D. I think you need me on Love Island because basically, let’s face it. You need a bit of character, a bit of personality and someone who’s gonna come in there and stir things up.
“Also I’m a ladies man, I love the ladies, love chatting up the ladies, love getting involved and love getting stuck in.
“And also I would break the myth of all these eye candy and stuff like that, have you got a bit of that [tummy] and I think it’ll send a message to young people out there and everyone that watches it, you don’t have to be perfect.”
He tells the Love Island team: “Your personality is enough. I think I’m the best person to come in because I’ll break the myth.
“You need someone like me. Personality, body, I got both – get me in, you know what to do.”
When it comes to getting on Love Island in 2018, as long as you’re 18 or over and single, there are pretty much no rules.
The sexy reality show, which films on the island of Majorca in Spain, finished its third series last summer with record breaking viewing figures for the channel and a fourth run has already been confirmed for this year.
Up for grabs for the winning couple across the first three series was £50,000 and the chance for a happily ever after. But mainly the money.
