1.8 million viewers watched last night's Celebrity Big Brother 2018 live eviction.
On Tuesday night, Emma Willis entered the Celebrity Big Brother house and surprised the sixteen housemates with live face-to-face nominations. The girls voted in a showdown that left India Willoughby and Jonny Mitchell up for the public vote.
Since Tuesday, viewers had been voting to save either India or Jonny. Last night, in the first live eviction of the series, Emma revealed live to the house that India received the fewest votes and would be the first housemate to leave Celebrity Big Brother January 2018.
The 9PM episode was seen by 1.8 million viewers, up 300,000 viewers week-on-week to give the series its highest rated episode since launch.
However the second half, where India spoke to host Emma Willis, averaged 1.2 million between 10PM and 10:30PM.
Inbetween the two CBB episodes, Will and Grace had 900,000 viewers, down from 1.3 million from last week.
Celebrity Big Brother 2018 continues tonight, both at 9PM on 5Star and at 10:30PM Channel 5.
Elsewhere in last night's ratings, EastEnders had 6 million viewers on BBC One.
Coronation Street was the most watched show of the day, securing 7.2 million viewers for its first instalment on ITV. The second had 7 million while Emmerdale had 6.6 million.
