There’s a new favourite to win Celebrity Big Brother 2018 after the men entered the house.

Last night saw eight men join the original eight women on the cast.

The boys have been unleashed into the all-female Celebrity Big Brother house in the hopes of stirring things up and it most has certainly has, in the betting at least.

Daniel O’Reilly, aka Dapper Laughs, is the unlikely frontrunner to take the title after a siege of bets came bounding in on Saturday. The comedian, whose ITV2 show was cancelled due to an offensive and sexist statement, looks to have already begun to redeem himself as his odds are slashed from 11/1 to the new 9/4 favourite.

Maggie Oliver has since been pushed out to the 11/2 second favourite to win as all the support appears to be for Dapper Laughs.

The boys continue to dominate the betting as Shane Lynch (6/1) and Courtney Act (8/1) take over third and fourth place.

Courtney Act, aka Shane Jenek, has also been on the receiving end of strong support from punters after his odds were cut to 8/1 from 16/1.

Aoife Heffron, Spokeswoman for BoyleSports commented: “It may be the year of the women on Celebrity Big Brother, but it is the men who have taken over and they are only in the house!

“Dapper Laughs is the new favourite to win after overwhelming support from punters came pouring in, forcing us to drastically cut his odds from 11/1 to 9/4.

She added ”Courtney Act’s wardrobe malfunction entrance certainly made an impact with punters as his odds were quickly slashed in half as the bets came tumbling in.”
