Celebrity Big Brother viewers are already predicting a romance on the series.
It follows the men joining the women in Friday night’s live show.
There appeared to be an instant spark between Ex On The Beach star Jess Impiazzi and Love Island’s Jonny Mitchell.
“Guarantee something happens between Jonny and Jess,” tweeted one viewer.
However, speaking to the Daily Mirror, a CBB insider insisted that Jonny wouldn’t just be spending his time flirting with the women.
A source said: “Jonny has a history of making feminism blunders so he is a little nervous about going into the house as it’s out of his comfort zone.
“He has been watching the show and is very politically minded so is looking forward to having a good debate with Ann Widdecombe and Rachel Johnson.”
Men joining Jonny in entering the house tonight included footballer turned pundit John Barnes, British ballet dancer Wayne Sleep and Comedian Daniel O’Reilly.
Also entering were Boyzone singer Shane Lynch, US R&B star Ginuwine, The Apprentice candidate Andrew Brady and RuPaul’s Drag Race star Courtney Act – aka Shane Jenek.
There are now sixteen celebrity housemates, although the women remain in charge.
The ladies will allocate roles to the men including butlers, chefs, house cleaners and toilet cleaners.
And in a further twist, only the women have the right to vote in the first nominations.
Those making up the current cast of ladies in the line up alongside Jess are former MP Ann Widdecombe, Keeping Up With The Kardashians star Malika Haqq, Boris Johnson’s sister Rachel Johnson, and actress Amanda Barrie.
Joining them as it stands are Made In Chelsea’s Ashley James, newsreader India Willoughby and former Detective Constable Maggie Oliver, known for her work investigating the Rochdale grooming scandal.
Celebrity Big Brother 2018 continues nightly on Channel 5.
