Dancing On Ice 2018 line up and twist for the first live show confirmed

The line up of celebrities and a twist for the first Dancing On Ice 2018 live show has been confirmed.

Dancing On Ice makes its much awaited comeback after four years away on Sunday.

Legendary skating duo Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean will be reunited with original hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby on the show that sees celebrity skaters take to the ice in a bid to dance and dazzle their way to glory.

Torvill and Dean will both sit on a revamped ice panel alongside the formidable Jason Gardiner and choreographer extraordinare Ashley Banjo.

This Sunday the first six skating stars take to the show’s brand new rink for the very first time.

The other six will have to wait until the following week before they skate for the judges, however, they’ll still take to the ice in a special group number not to be missed!

Once the judges scores have been combined with the viewer’s votes, this Sunday’s bottom couple will face the first skate off of the series, the following week.

They’ll have to skate again against whichever couple finishes bottom in that show. That means that no one will leave in the first week.

In the skate off, the judging panel will choose who to save and who to send home. In a twist, Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean will alternate the role of Head Judge.

In the event of a tie between the judges, it’ll be down to the head judge to ultimately decide leaves the competition.

As well as all that there will be a spectacular opening performance featuring all of the Dancing On Ice 2018 celebrities and skating professionals.

Our line up of some of the world’s best skating pros will also take part in a very special performance later in the show.

Dancing On Ice 2018 airs from 6PM this Sunday night on ITV.
