Amber and Kem won Series 3 of ITV2’s Love Island in the summer and ended up sharing the £50,000 prize fund.

After almost six months together, the couple called it a day earlier this month just before Christmas.

“With sadness, we’ve decided to separate,” they said in a joint statement. “We fell in love in the villa and want to thank all the fans of the show for supporting us.

“Our schedules made it difficult. We’ll remain good friends.”

Proving there are no hard feelings between them, Amber this week spoke out to wish Kem luck ahead of his first Dancing On Ice show.

She wrote in her new! magazine column: “Dancing On Ice kicks off this weekend and I wish Kem all the best in the competition. I’m sure he’ll be fabulous.

“He’s worked incredibly hard and been very dedicated. I hope he goes a long way.”

Meanwhile, speaking to this week’s Heat magazine, Kem made a shock confession.

“I’m still in love with Amber as we’ve only just split,” he said.

Kem added: “I haven’t really been out since me and Amber split up, and it ended very amicably so, out of respect for her, I don’t want to be going out partying and getting with girls.

“I was really upset, and I’m not a big drinker or clubbing person anyway.”

Dancing On Ice returns on Sunday night at 6PM on ITV.
