After Jennie McAlpine left the jungle in fourth place yesterday, Iain, Georgia ‘Toff’ Toffolo and Jamie Lomas were left fighting it out to be crowned the ITV show’s latest champion.

As usual at the end of the series, each of the final three had to face their own Bushtucker Trial to win a course for their slap-up last supper.

This year, it was Iain’s responsibility to take on the Bushtucker Bonanza, a classic challenge that has been an I’m A Celebrity staple since 2003.

In each round, Iain would be served two dishes: one a nice meal from home, the other a nasty bush delicacy.

Each time he chose and consumed the nasty food, he’d win one star.

The first three rounds were worth main meals for all three finalists, and the remaining two were for Iain’s own drink and treat.

“I’ve seen this one, I’ve fallen inside the television,” he quipped. “Come on, I’m hungry!”

Round one saw him choose between bacon cheeseburger and chips, or two turkey testicles.

Chewing on the nads, he said: “They’re not getting any smaller. It felt like eating a sac of pus.”

Round two involved a cheeseboard, or two scorpions.

Ant and Dec tried to tempt him in to the nicer option, reminding him of the ‘Strawberry-gate‘ controversy.

“You can’t blame this one on Amir [Khan]!” Dec joked.

Next on the menu was a traditional roast chicken dinner, or camel brain.

“Let’s have a moment’s silence for the camel wandering around without a brain,” Iain remarked. “I feel like I might throw up.”

The talkRADIO host was then offered iced mineral water, lemonade and black coffee – his favourite trio of drinks – or a blend of cockroaches, crickets, meal worms and beach worms.

“You two are absolutely sick, you really are,” he smirked.

Finally, Iain’s dessert options were apple crumble or pig vagina.

“It tastes exactly like what it is, meat jelly,” he said. I’m not chewing, I’m just thinking of all of my career choices that have left me here!”

Having sampled everything on the bush menu, Iain won all five stars – and crucially the main meal for the supper.

“That was a lot of fun, can I go and be sick somewhere now?” he grinned.
